VDuality Wave 1 Casting At this time all talents have been cast for VDuality’s first wave. We sincerely thank everyone who auditioned for our first talent wave. We hope to be able to add additional talent waves in the future. We will be publicly announcing our first wave of talents soon and appreciate your patience as we prepare them for their VDuality debuts.

VDuality Quick Update: Thank you for your patience as Mossy and Melissa work through reviewing all auditions. We are taking our time to ensure every audition received is reviewed with the proper attention it deserves. With our current pace, feedback and round 1 decisions should be sent out over the weekend. Once all communications, feedback, and interview invites have been sent we will make an announcement. Please note if you are not in the VDuality discord server you may receive an email instead of a discord DM. Communications will be sent in waves as this is all manual. We want to extend a big thank you again to everyone who applied for VDuality's 1st wave. It is such an honor to see all of your talent and creativity.

VDuality Final Day to apply! What to expect after auditions close? Mossy and Melissa will be reviewing each application in depth to give each applicant the attention they deserve. Once Mossy and Melissa have finished reviewing ALL auditions (we’re hoping this only takes a week) they will begin reaching out to potential talents in waves to set up interviews. If you requested feedback, that will be provided at the time that we contact you about round 1 decisions. We recommend joining the VDuality discord server for up to date information. We will also be conducting the interviews directly in the server, if we can’t reach you then we can’t cast you! After interviews we will contact the individuals that we would like to cast for Wave 1. Please do not contact Mossy, Melissa, or the VDuality mods regarding your status, this will result in an automatic rejection.

Meet the founders of VDuality Mossy is the Queen of the Frog Pond! She has been streaming since 2016 but debuted as a VTuber in 2021. Meet the founders of VDuality Melissa is a Fiend VTuber! She has been streaming since January 2018 but debuted as a VTuber in 2023. She is a Pokemon/Variety streamer and her favorite games are Pokemon Emerald and Borderlands 2. One of her goals with VDuality is to have a safe space for fun collabs!

VDuality Where does the name come from? The name VDuality comes from our original idea of a VTuber group where talents would also do facecam content. While we happily allow facecam and handcam content they are not required, our overall model changed but the name stayed the same. Do talents need to sign a contract? While VDuality is starting as a group there is not an official contract that would need to be signed at this time. There will however, be a general agreement that all talents agree to abide by. Does VDuality take a cut of talent earnings? No! VDuality is entirely self and fan funded at this time. Any money made by the talents from streaming and their own efforts is their own. VDuality staff/hosts do not take a cut other than their equal portion of the shared donation fund.

VDuality What are the talent benefits? Dedicated hosts that are invested in learning about your goals and finding paths to achieve them. Merch opportunities, vetted group to collab with, assistance with finding and commissioning artists, riggers, writers, etc. Depending on our talent’s goals we are willing to customize some benefits. Are these adopt style auditions? Talents may continue with their current streaming/content persona or create a new one If talents already have a manager can they continue using them? Absolutely! VDuality will not formally have management services available at launch, although this is a goal for us to offer in the future. Our priority is assessing talent’s goals before creating and executing a success roadmap. If your current manager is part of that plan then we are happy to work with them!

VDuality Is there a stream quota? Yes, we have a small stream quota of at least 3 streams a month. But we’re flexibile! Are talents paid? There is a group donation fund that will be paid out equally to each talent. Hosts do not take a cut from any money earned by talents directly. Do I need streaming experience? Technically no. Your audition is what will be considered for the first round. We are a streaming group first and foremost so experience may be helpful to you! Where can we stream? Talents are welcome to stream on either Twitch or YouTube at this time! Are handcam/facecam streams required? Not at all! While the hosts may explore facecam/handcam content this is not a requirement by any means!

VDuality Who can apply? Anyone 18 and older can apply! You can be from any timezone as well! When do auditions close? Auditions are open NOW and close at midnight PST on Monday, July 21st. Can I edit my application? Yes! Audition Applications will not be viewed until the application form closes. You will have access to update your application at anytime prior to them closing on July 21st. How many talents will be cast? This depends as we want to make sure we can properly support any talent that are cast. We are roughly looking to cast between 3 and 7 talents. Do I have to have a L2D model? No, you can be L2D, 3D, PNG, GIF or anything else! If you’re looking for a new model we may be able to help talents with some of the process of getting a new model.
