As disabled people shouldn't be penalised for being disabled.
Go for the most vulnerable first if you can get away with it.

There was a comment about Boomers. I know many who abhor all of this.

Having physical disabilities and chronic health conditions so bad that trying to volunteer even a couple of hours a week makes you so ill that it leaves you bedbound is also depressing.
Fearing that your already reduced quality of life is being targetted. Who is supporting me?
Jonathan, I'm falling through the cracks in Social Care.
Nothing (unless there's a medical miracle) will make me well enough to work again.
Trying to get extra help to support me in my own home and lead a life worth living has been over a year long battle, which shows no sign of ending.
Sad then that disabled people seem to be the target of every government.
So disappointed in what's happening. As a constituent I feel badly let down.
NEW: In November, I wrote a Guardian column headlined 'How to Survive the Broligarchy'. Pretty much everything predicted has now come true. What I'm launching today is part handbook, how to protect ourselves? And part manifesto, how to fight back? Please join me.

βTerrible things are happening outside. Poor helpless people are being dragged out of their homes. Families are torn apart. Men, women, and children are separated. Children come home from school to find that their parents have disappeared.β

21.11.2024 13:40 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I'd like to know why no one seems outraged about the treatment of disabled people over the recent years.
19.11.2024 21:35 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0You know who hasn't had this degree of media support for their financial interests? Disabled people, poor people with more than two kids, public sector workers (after all that clapping for the NHS). I'm not usually a 'blame the media' person but seriously - this is mad
