In as much as I don't want to pay more, or see my innocent fellow Americans suffer, I also believe that the only way to deal with a bully is to take THEIR lunch and give them some of their own medicine. So I'm giving this guy a standing ovation. Elbows up, allies.

I'm glad Gaetz had the sense to drop out. The sad part is, I'm not sure the report would make a difference. Too many people only want morality in who they impose it on, not as a standard for all politicians. Trump, Gaetz, Hegseth, others... democrats expected to be moral, others not so much.

Just a mere 1560 light years... So close and yet so far. :) :) :)

What is sad is not recognizing the great spectrum of humanity that we have. Cis XX and XY are at each end with a whole spectrum of people between. "All men are created equal" but not the same, and that's what makes it interesting and cool. Trans people are people. We should treat them like equals.

Thought for the day... One of my Grams' favorite sayings was, "brighten the corner where you are". It fits what I believe I was taught back when I was religious... kind of the point of life. Help where you can. Do what you can. If we don't stand for love, what do we stand for?

I just followed you because of the carving. I have wanted to learn woodcarving (and actually tried to get some students of mine into it - a couple gave it a go and one is now in a carpentry apprenticeship because of it.... so I'm excited to see your projects.
