I can't neccesarily hold 'Five Nights at Freddy's 2' (2025) accountable for one of my worst cinema experiences.

What I can hold the film accountable for is just being a bit boring and also completely nonsensical at times.

However, the practical animatronics were rad!

'Men in Black' (1997) is magnificent.

Everything about the film works for me. The humour, the tone, the cinematography, the cast, the score, the practical effects (and the CGI to be fair), the script. All spectacular.

No more to say. Bloody brilliant.

'21 Jump Street' (2012) is brlliant comedy.

Always been a big Tatum fan, and even Hill (who I don't always find to my liking) made me chuckle too. Ice Cube is as you'd expect, rest of the cast were decent too.

Humour worked for me and still works to this day.

'Mission Impossible 3' (2006) is for sure my favourite of the first three, likely for the same reasons many others note.

Way more coherent than some of the nonsense from the previous two. Way less stupid slo-mo and repeat shots. Still an absurd amount of fake faces.

Tom Cruise still unnerves me.

I don't think even the child version of me would have found 'Mission Impossible 2' (2000) cool.

It's tonally baffling, at times feeling like a parody, Tom Cruise simply unnerves me, and the cinematography and editing was ludicrous.

Luther is awesome as always.

I'll be honest, I don't think the spy business is for me, all the double crossing is very confusing.

Anyway, 'Mission Impossible' (1996) is shot and edited well, and the writing is solid. However, I can't really fault most of what goes on, it just feels "fine" to me.

Tom Cruise unnerves me.

At the start of 'Terminator: Resistance Enhanced' (2023) I was worried about not being able to take down a T-800.

However, come the end when I was a laser-spewing, Terminator-killing machine (but still human) I was having a most wonderful power trip.

Switched my brain off and had a blast.

'The Expanse: A Telltale Series' (2023) was pretty fun to play through.

Don't actually know anything about the series so maybe this worked in my favour.

You know what to expect of a Telltale game, but it ran smooth.

Lord above did this one punish you down the line for early choices.

There's a message about self-belief in 'The Matrix' (1999), but it's easy to understand why Neo may not believe he's the one.

Literally everyone, (except Morpheus- the GOAT), including an all-powerful oracle tells him he isn't.

Slo-mo and warping scenes were funky.

Still relevant.

'I Spy' (2002) was hilarious. A goofy, early 2000's gem that had me chuckling.

I quite often despise people who talk about themselves in the third person, but Eddie Murphy constantly referring to himself by his character's name Kelly Robinson really made me laugh.

The duo had great chemistry.

'Thank Goodness You're Here' was absolutely, 100%, one of the most bizarre and baffling games I've ever played.

It was also incredibly funny.

As someone very familiar with Northern English towns, I can say it was also rather accurate in it's depiction.

Brilliant.

As I sat watching 'Snowpiercer' (2013), I thought by heck there's a lot to unpack and that maybe a TV series would work better.

I have since learned that there IS a TV series, so I will give that a watch.

Film itself was decent.

Enjoyed 'The First Purge' (2018).

Don't think I'll ever tire of watching supremacists get what they deserve (a blood-soaked end).

Don't think I'll also ever tire of how amusing I find it that governments, as it stands right now, both fictional and real are absolute shambles.

What's terrifying about 'The Purge: Election Year' (2016) is that this could become reality and it wouldn't suprise me in the slightest.

However, I'd feel a bit calmer if I too had a Frank Grillo protecting me.

Some of the kills were pretty rad, even if things slowed down on a few occasions.

Cried on many more than one occasion during 'The Bear S4' (2025).

I also laughed, sighed, got heated (pun intended) and went through a heck of a lot of emotions.

What a superb show. Amazing how a "cooking" show has hit me so much harder and been more magnificent than I ever imagined.

Genuinely sat undistracted, so maybe I'm just being silly, but I couldn't fathom for the life of me what was actually going on in 'Arcane S2' (2024).

However, it looks absolutely stunning, the voice acting was superb, and the use of music was brilliant.

Apparently the finale of The Umbrella Academy S4' (2024) is a divisive one.

Personally, I'm on board with it and it's really stuck with me. Ballsy.

The whole season (and the three prior) was superb. Really glad I got into the show. Must give the comics a try.

'Guns, Gore and Cannoli' (2015) and 'Guns, Gore and Cannoli 2' (2018) are both brilliant side scrolling shoot-em-ups.

The first was more frustrating than I remembered, but also had some more standout moments.

Both are worth playing though. Vinny is hilarious.

'I, Robot.' (2004) was a slow build for sure, but the last 30 minutes get pretty hectic.

Decent adaptation of some of the ideas of Asimov. Having recently read the book though, and anthology film or seriees of shorts would be wicked.

"Bodies from the battlefield? But they'll be mangled". *Proceeds to aquire the nearly pristine head of Jacob Elordi*

Resonated alot with Victor and his love of milk.

Big fan of a dude getting his face punched off.

Victor's creation was packing HEAT.

'Frankenstein' (2025) is worth a watch.

Felt a bit odd have one of the protagonists in 'Predator: Badlands' (2025) be a Yautja, but the duo did not Fann(y)ing about and lots of aliens were De(c)k(ed). They also made a Bud along the way. That was nice.

Decent preddy entry.

Had a great time with 'Cat Quest 3' (2024).

Enjoyed roaming the seas and becoming the purrfect pirate.

Another fantastic entry into this cosy series of games.

I don't care for the "Is Die Hard a Christmas film?" Debate. But I must speak my truth.

'Die Hard 2' (1990) is more of a Christmas film than the original.

The schtick of bullying someone who's genuinely a nice and decent person just because they aren't all there got old FAST.

That said, some jokes and gags in 'Hubie Halloween' (2020) made me chuckle more than I have for a while.

'Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers' (1988) is a bit dull, as in the first is TENSE, but this just feels a bit flat.

HOWEVER, bonus points because it's Mikey Myers. Further bonus points for the score. Definitely futher bonus points for mad Dr Loomis.

'Artemis Fowl' (2001) was brilliant.

The Percy Jackson books satisfy the Greek itch, Skulduggery Pleasant does magic and horror itch, this fills the need for fairies and folklore.

Really enjoyed 'Percy Jackson and the Chalice of the Gods' (2023).

Nice to have things go back to basics, as it were.

Just a great story about Percy going on a quest and the inclusion of all the Greek pantheon and Mythology was brilliant as always.

Always get a bit bummed that the Dark Universe never took off, but 'The Mummy' (2017) is still a decent enough entry to the now-dead franchise.

Wanted a bit more Egyptian Mythology, but never mind.

Tom Cruise is weird. Russell Crowe is fantastic.
