It may have to do with just bypassing USB compatibility issues, where you can just transmit over local network more easily across devices/device generations as opposed to dealing with accounting for different transfer rates based off of hardware. It's local network only iirc?

I will say: The things that i am most grateful for this year are all of the amazing new people I've been able to meet, and getting to spend more time with and getting to grow together with my friends :3
