Happier post: we moved into our new home two weeks ago! It's been consuming so much of my mental capacity for the last few months that it's actually hard to overstate the relief of it all being sorted.

I know the good folks making the games aren't the ones to blame, but I'm so bored of companies chasing loser shit like NFTs and AI. Then, when it inevitably fails, it's the employees who suffer.

Famous last words, but I think once the final part of FF7 comes out that'll be me done with Square-Enix games. Constantly chasing the latest grift trend is so utterly at odds with what I loved about their games growing up.

On a happier note - I'll be at AdventureX this year. Missed the last one as my partner tested positive for Covid in the run up, so I'm very much looking forward to this one!
