I use audiobooks during specific times, eg doing chores or roadtrips. I also like to listen to audiobooks of some of my favorites, so I’m gaining new perspective while already knowing the story. If I have nothing else to do, but want to finish a story, I play solitaire on my phone while I listen.

The POTUS and VP automatically had themselves followed from Ilona's Instagram without her permission. Given that she is a minor and they overrode their consent process to force themselves into her feed is insanely inappropriate. I’m furious.

Feeling melancholy. Gonna do some cardio in search of endorphins. Got 6” of snow overnight and it “feels like -10” outside. Tried scrolling TT and it only made me more sad ( the obvious manipulation of the algorithm, the anti-American sentiment, the potential Meta alignment, the pandering). #day1

I’m pulling my final plug on Meta today. With Insta gone today and Tik Tok gone tomorrow, hours of my week and most of my media consumption (I don’t TV) is in flux. I’ve lost 70 lbs this year, monitoring every bite I put into my body- now I’m contemplating what it means to do the same for my brain.

Testing new socials b/c it’s strange not to share life when you have big news…Lon committed to Nazareth University! Frankly, she went from not interested to totally in love, largely b/c she’ll be able to dance through college while pursuing edu and math. Amazing that we’ve launched a human.
