Ohhh, I’ve not heard of these but I wanna read them! Thank you! I really like Claire North’s novels. The Gameshouse is my favorite. I liked V E Schwab’s Shades of Magic series but they’re a little predictable!

I find places like CBS and the Washington Post baffling. They assume they can simply replicate FOX news, as if every audience *wants* that content. Both places are struggling now because they didn’t understand their own consumers!

Agreed. And it’s hard to see how many of us have nearly identical experiences.

I left academia in 2022 (English lit). I was also relentlessly harassed without recourse. Leaving was devastating but the only way to build myself back up. 😞

I’m not surprised, but I’m sorry for your experiences. The veneration for older male scholars is unending, despite all the things they do to us.

This was 100% my experience in academia. And so many faculty knew and didn’t care. 😐
