Finally hit my goal. At 165lbs, 40lbs lighter. It took me 5 months instead of the 4 I initially set out to do. The last 10lbs took forever even though I was eating 500kcal+ below my maintenance. New goal is 145lbs, but over a stretch of 2 years. Should be much easier and less taxing.

Jacob was born 2 days ago, and we just got back from the hospital today. Exhausted, but a good kind of exhausted. He's healthy and cute. What a surreal experience. :)

In July, shortly after learning I'd be a father, I decided to get healthier, so I've been eating 1k below my maintenance and doing cardio 4-5 times a week. Today I hit a milestone, losing 30 lbs. My goal is to get to 165lbs by the end of Nov when Jacob is due, another 10lbs. Real happy with my prog.

It still blows my mind that my twitter account got suspended for "authenticity" back in Jan 26. I submitted a lot of appeals with no replies. My account was 100% legitimate, posted 1-2 a week, and only liked art posts. Guess I needed to be forced off the platform to appreciate the other options.
