I'm sure it lost some, although my personal bias is that nobody can project the value of a pick 7 years out. That's more than an eternity in this league. Who knows if the Magic or any other team will be having an up year or down year in 2032?

I wonder if Orlando has another move up their sleeve. Their 2032 pick will be tradeable at the end of the month. Could they combine that with someone on the roster to improve even more?

Depends on what "worked out" means.

Minnesota sent out 4 for Gobert & has been to 2 WCF.
New York sent out 5 for Bridges & went to the ECF.

Those players weren't the only factors, but they were final four teams in the NBA.

I've had a few exceptions on the guy side, but this strikes a chord with me. I've had tons of friends, male & female, and I value both, but I've always found it easier to fall into a friendship with women, as far back as high school. My list of work wives over the years is lengthy.

Everything above is correct about splitting the assigned lottery combinations, which would be unnecessary since each club would already have 140.

The additional bit is that someone would still have to be pre-lotto #1 & someone #2, in case neither is in the top 4. That tie is broken via coin flip.

There's the answer. Utah bypasses signing a second 10-day contract & just locks Springer down for what sounds like 3 years (the rest of this one plus two more).

I'm guessing the future years are team options and/or lots of non-guaranteed money.

Jaden Springer's 10-day contract expired at the end of day Saturday. He is still listed in Utah's Game Notes, which could indicate he's expected to sign a 2nd 10-day deal, but that's not official.

Keep an eye out for either a contract signing or no news at all.

I was headed to Utah last Thursday, so I was looking for tickets to the Clippers game, but both games showed in the results for Jazz tickets. At some point it looked like this:

The remainder of the Jazz schedule is kind of feast or famine from a home/road perspective:

7 game home stand
5 game road trip
1 home game
1 quick roadie
6 game home stand
5 game road trip
2 final games at home
1 season finale on the road

If he inks the contract on Wednesday or Thursday, he'd be on the roster for 5 home games.

If they waited until Friday, they could fit in a 6th home game, but he wouldn't have a chance to practice with the team before the first game (he could do shootaround on Friday, not not a full practice).

As a 3 year vet (currently in his 4th year), Springer should make $124,288 over the 10-day contract. Utah will pay him $119,972, with the league paying the remainder.

The Clippers just wrapped up a 14-point win over the Grizzlies & are supposed to depart for SLC in an hour. I bet Kawhi sits tomorrow, with Harden, Powell & Zubac TBD. Jazz may rest some guys as well due to the B2B.
