If you would like something genuinely good and warm in these awful and cold times, I strongly recommend this. Ms. Carpenter started a first-watch podcast for Buffy/Angel and brings in guests who were on the show with her. I was smiling the entire time.

They won't start with banning birth control. First they'll lie about it. Then dictate who can prescribe it, use it, fund it, in what forms, and for how long. Suddenly, your doctor won't call you back. I know this is what they'll do because it's what they're doing to transgender healthcare right now.

The irony of the Smiling Friends sudden cancellation, is that made us all sad, and they will return in two episodes to make us smile one last time.
Honestly, they revitalised the animation landscape, they gave us stop motion, 2000s inbetweening, Pyramid Head for some reason, and made us smile.

the james sunderland tortured artist thing was also corny and weird as fuck. james is supposed to be normal bob which is one of the reasons why the plot twist is so effective

genuinely does gans just hate women? you lump multiple female characters with interesting plots together as one, make a mockery out of sa, and turn mary’s death into a “no but he had to do it” scenario when really it is “i hated you and wanted you out of the way”

everything. was wrong with that movie. but i think what sent me over the edge was the choice to have james kill mary because she fucking asked him to. that’s legitimately disregarding the entire point of the story btw
