A shot at the entrance of the lift to Euro-Mir at Europa Park. The picture shows the lift drum in dark blue light, a part of a seat and a steel support pillar that has a part cut out, with a reinforcement applied to the opposite side of the cutout. Laser-projected stars are reflected from various parts of the coaster.
Same scene as the first picture, but two yellow lines highlight the actual shape of the support which has a "deviation" to the left.
@cursedsupports.bsky.social: Like many cursed supports, this one at Euro-Mir (Europa Park) actually has a very good reason to exist. Still looks weird. Right image highlights the actual shape of it, the left bump is welded or screwed on. Sorry, very dark corner of an indoor lift, so no better pic.
