I really think if there was anything to allegations against Johan I would've heard more given how tuned in i was back then but who knows Never heard a bad word about him from anyone. 🤷‍♀️

He was so great. And it got pretty electric IIRC.

(And it was so stormy that day. My folks & I were at the game, but Kevin was at home for the 2nd half of the game trying to watch on TV & we had DirecTV back then and all the rain meant realllly poor reception.)

Underrated perk of our old season tickets at Target Field was being able to turn around and look into the Twins TV broadcast booth.

On this date in 2019, I snapped these photos of my favorite pitcher (Johan Santana) & Hall of Famer Bert Blyleven.

I will forever be grumpy & confused over the fact that Johan Santana and Joe Nathan were only on the ballot for one year but Torii Hunter has been on there for multiple years now. Makes no sense.

My favorite pitcher of all time and he pitched at my wedding. Pretty good deal.

Searching on Johan Santana's name because Venezuela is in the news is normal, right?

Anyway, it's heartening to see so many people talking about Johan's HOF case and what a travesty it was he dropped off the ballot after one year. (Especially in light of how well King Felix is doing.)

Really should be celebrating with chocolate milk if I'm going full Joe Mauer.
