✨Resplendent Quetzal✨

So lucky to see one of these magical birds the other day.

But did you know that their feathers aren't actually green? They actually look green because of how they bend light. There’s no green pigment at all, and they can even look brown under different lighting.

Screenshot with a blue background. There is a white box that looks like the top of a protest sign, with blue writing that says β€œDefend public health”. The words are stacked on each other. In between the N in defend and the I public there is a tiny orange flame. Below that it says science compassion people power.

We wanted to share something about our logo.

It is meant to evoke a protest sign. And there is a candle flame in the negative space.

We and so many others are working to keep that flame lit.

We are grateful to the very talented volunteer who designed it but wishes to remain anonymous.

Leadership in Turbulent Times is one of the best books on leadership I've read. Examining pivotal moments in 4 presidencies, this book intertwines laudable leadership achievements, challenges, and relatable moments within the context of US history. I highly recommend it.

Promotional graphic for "Somebody Should Do Something: How Anyone Can Create Social Change" on a blue-green gradient background. A 3D image of the book is on the right. To the top left is an endorsement from Kate Marvel, author of Human Nature, that reads "In Somebody Should Do Something, Michael Brownstein, Alex Madva, and Daniel Kelly neatly dispense with the false divide between individual action and systemic change. . . . Most importantly, the book provides concrete suggestions for organizing, coalition-building, and finding your own place in creating change."

Combining compelling stories with science, "Somebody Should Do Something" explores how personal choices, when linked with collective action, can drive the big structural change needed to tackle systemic issues.

Very exciting for allogeneic development! Looking forward to the published article, I'd like to see the duration/"degree" of TCR silencing in vivo if it was analyzed. This is a great proof of concept that it can be done. I'd love to see a TCR knockout/silenced PD-1 in vivo. Thanks for sharing!
