Sometimes your favorite artist are gonna evolve in a direction that still resonates with you but other times it won’t. They’re not beholden to only create the ways you want them to and you aren’t beholden to continue to consume their art if you no longer like it.

Art under capitalism has made ppl so entitled to artist’s expression that I think we forget how personal artistic expression is! It’s personal to the artist first! If you vibe with it as a fan, great! But you don’t get to shove them in a box and say “this is the only way you’re allowed to express”
