I adore crows and ravens! They are often in my neighborhood and sometimes in my yard. I just bought a book about corvids for my little nieces when we were doing Thanksgiving weekend bookstore browsing.

Ha ha, it really does look angry. And there you are wasting precious time on photography rather than priorizing the filling of the feeder.

According to my extensive research (conducted in the past 3 minutes) the word was not invented until 1964.

Every time I see "petrichor" I think of a poem I wrote in 3rd grade in which I described petrichor, though at the time I did not know the word. My teacher did not know the word or the phenomenon and said I made no sense. She was wrong.

Not to my liking but yesterday I was admiring the miniature mince pieces made by Walker's, the shortbread kings. They are adorable and everything Walker's makes is delectable. At the moment I'm eating their stem ginger biscuits. Mmmmmm.
