I still don't believe them.

( and ngl, I probably won't finally do the MSQ until next year at this point )

Better late than never. I've done a voice claim before but what do others think?

I liked Krile when she was introduced in game and enjoyed seeing her ( StB made me do an all nighter though! IFKYK )

The real moment didn't come until I was done the MSQ Pre-EW when I brainstorming fleshing out Misty as an OC and who I could ship him with and Krile came to mind and that was it...

Summoner. Friend. Husband. ( Reluctant ) Hero.

I bet everyone else is like " FINALLY! "

And if anyone thinks the type of character Krile is in FF14 can never be done well...

3 words; Maelle, Expedition 33.

( Yes I know I haven't done the patches to 7.3 yet but I haven't exactly avoided spoilers either )

If there is any consolation is that pretty much EVERYONE universally agree ACROSS ALL REGIONS that Krile was done dirty.

That is why I am weary of 7.4 because if they finally deliver there people will ask why now and not 2 years when it would've actually mattered!?

Also, what the fuck was with the Gondola scene with G'raha Tia!? Talk about blatent fanservice. Do you know how many 1 on 1 scenes like that Krile had in 7.0? ZERO. FUCKING ZERO.

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!?

I wasn't expecting her to be a main character either but what happened in 7.0 was frankly a fucking insult and broke so many basic rules of narrativie storytelling it's not funny.

I hope they bowed they heads in shame when they saw the reviews come out.

If the writers responsible for Krile's mistreatment in the 7.0 (contray to marketing and promises of YoshiP) worked anywhere other than Japan,they would've been fired from their jobs for gross imcompetence.

They made YoshiP look like he'd spent 2 years lying to everyone about her role in 7.0.

There would have 75+% of his character development happen offscreen while the player is stuck doing filler content only to speedrun his arc at the end.

Not like they never did that before... oh, wait... 🤬
