On my walk through the forest, I saw ferns everywhere. They were layered deep into the trees.

I love the colors and patterns of ferns. That green gets me every time. I had to slow down and take it all in.

I see this line almost every time I step out of the Alpental parking lot. Most days it’s just there, familiar and steady. But when the light shifts, pink at dawn, gold at last light, deep blue in the cold, it feels completely new. Same ridge. Different mood.
