Extremely thrilled to have participated in this very cool work led by @nonlinearchris.bsky.social, who is giving an excellent rundown of the results in this video/interview. We used Parker Solar Probe data to find evidence of synchrotron radiation generated at CME-driven shock waves ☀️ #heliophysics

Fun fact: Venus is the third brightest object in the sky (after the Sun and the Moon, duh) if we only consider natural bodies, but gets bumped to fourth position if we include artificial satellites—in that case, the bronze medal goes to the International Space Station (ISS)
