Working on Juri Han from Street Fighter. I thought it didn't look enough like her but after some detail in the hair and the viciousness of the eyes, it's starting to feel more like her.

I'm drawing Arc Knight, waifu connoisseur and one of my favorite #vtubers. This is just the lines.

He's doing the Artorias pose from the OG Dark Souls DLC cause Artorias is his favorite character.

SCREEN ACT: -full age verification. (biometric scans, ID uploads, background checks) -Deeply unsafe for personal and data privacy. Security/data breaches are rampant, and uploading so much sensitive data to every single we site is just asking for mass ID theft. -id verification is much, much harder on small websites than larger ones, creating a chilling effect and stifling speech for anyone that isnt a massive corporation -draw comparison to UK's OSA [online safety act] and the backlash it is receiving

KOSA: -creates "duty of care,” meaning that tech companies and platform giants would be required to take steps to prevent potentially harmful encounters, such as posts about eating disorders and instances of online bullying, from impacting minors. -who gets to decide what is or is not "unsafe for minors"? Especially under the current administration -it will block access to important info minors could use to keep themselves safe or advocate for themselves. Ex: sex ed. -the vague nature of the bill will almost certainly be used to target LGBT content under the guise of "protecting children"

I know what you mean. I have the opposite problem. I rush it at the end and once I post it, I notice stuff I missed and have to take it down, finish it and reupload it.

Looking back, I would've defined the area around Hinoa's mouth more so that the structure is more understandable.

I just have to commit even though the more I look at it, the more mistakes become apparent.

It's coming along okay, i think. Proportions could've been better but screw it. I'm already here. Also there's a lot of jank in the shading because I don't have direct reference for the lighting in this one.

Speaking of Dave Malan, I just saw he released a new drawing video on his Youtube.

I love this look! It's like Leyendecker meets Dave Malan. It's architectural but painterly.

It's the cheeky smile that wins me over.

The fact that it only took me two days to get this far is a testament to two things:

1) Recording my process slows me way the hell down.
2) I'm faster than I thought I was.

One nap later, I did the clean lines. The real tricky bit is that my reference for the lighting in this piece is loose at best so I'm gonna have to wing most of it.

Also, this is the actual intended orientation of the artwork.

So, maybe I like vtuber music.
Maybe two vtubers I like collaborated on a song.
Maybe I liked it so much I bought it.
Maybe I played it on repeat for hours.
Maybe it inspired me to make this.
Maybe I'll fully render it.
Maybe.

I always tell people to zoom in to my drawings so they can see that it's just scribbles. It doesn't have to be a super precise render, it just has to be enough to visually say what I want it to say.
