My very stupid Congressman is one of the co-sponsors of this bill. I have written him multiple times in disagreement, and he doesn't even bother to write back, even with a form letter.

Goddesses preparing to be fired last night. Now that they are dry enough, they are experiencing their first firing now.

Senator Crapo from my state's phones are down from the 7th to the 14th of February, and he's not keeping voice mails. Convenient for him isn't it? He didn't even announce this on his official website, but announced it on X. Infuriating.

I started the day with calling all 3 of my representatives, then shoveled through about 8 inches of snow to get to my studio and clear some of my driveway. That's enough adulting for the day.

I have a complicated relationship with snow. But I know a snowpack here is needed. This is the first January I remember where we can see Moscow Mountain bare of snow. It's supposed to snow quite a bit tonight, I don't know if it will be enough to protect us from a nasty fire season though.

I believe that every time we 'make' rather than consume, it is an act of resistance.

Mom had a cat who loved to be vacuumed. I wish other pets did too, a positive for them and us.

Although I am not a fan of snow. It is still very disturbing that we have had so little this Winter. No snow pack means a dangerously dry summer. February is coming, so snow is still a possibility...and this might be a "be careful of what you wish for moment".

I am so ashamed of our country.
