My mother was a toxic nightmare puppet master my whole life, and has the kind of dementia that made her paranoid, nasty and mean. When she was finally placed into a nursing home was the first time I felt safe from her abuse.

We must end the scourge of gun violence in America.
We also need to have honest conversations about the ways internet platforms profit from fear, hatred, and division.
Both are vital to the future of this country.
The real issue isn’t left vs right.
It’s not white vs black.
It’s not citizen vs immigrant.
It’s not gay vs straight.
The real issue is that a lot of powerful people have a vested interest — and a lot of money invested — in dividing us, and it’s working.
Americans are relearning the lesson we learned during the Gilded Age of the late 1890s, when robber barons ran the government and the economy for their own benefit: Oligarchy is incompatible with the common good.
I'm hopeful we'll respond with a new progressive movement.
And have the American taxpayers heard "Thank you" from him yet?

And there you have it. ICE didn't target migrant workers in Kristi Noem's farms or Sarah Huckabee Sanders' meatpacking plants because they wanted to create a riot in LA as a pretext to declaring martial law. They don't care about undocumented migrants, they only care about controlling US citizens.
