Agreed! Tbf he's not good at SMB yet either haha. All this stuff takes practice, fine motor skills, and quick reaction time - things he's still developing.
But I do think his practice with SMB unlocked something for him. Then again, he's slightly different every week in every way. Kids be crazy.

My 5 y/o son started occasionally playing Horizon Chase 2 last year; he loved it, but he was pretty bad (he's 5 after all).

He started playing SMB on my old NES a couple weeks ago and can't get enough of it.

Last night he played a little HC2 again and suddenly he was good.

I spent actual money on a OLED TV this past week and that's been crisp as hell!

The first thing my son played on it? SMB on my old NES. A forty year old game never looked so good.

I've been enjoying HZD Remastered on it. Played a little Theatrhythm too, but haven't had a lot of time otherwise.

I have seen a /staggering/ amount of this art being available online as prints, metal prints, stained glass and a number of other products.

Kinda, except everyone in a Discord server is part of the chat and you can make distinct channels about different subjects to focus the conversation. It's a bit chaotic, depending on the server. I don't love it, and if there's no way around some kind of age verification BS then I'm off it.
