The Commanders are signing veteran guard Nate Herbig, source confirms. (@JFowlerESPN 1st).

Herbig has 30 career IOL starts and was expected to Pittsburgh's center last season but suffered a sesson-ending rotator cuff injury. Would think he's part of the Cosmi replacement mix.

Sources confirm that the Commanders have come to terms with DT Eddie Goldman. He played 17 games—10 starts—with the Falcons last season after not playing in 3 of the prior 4 seasons.

Goldman, 31, is a local (Friendship Collegiate Academy Public Charter School). More DL depth.

The Commanders are signing former Patriots CB Jonathan Jones, per source. 1-year.

Possible starter with Lattimore and Sainristil.

Benjamin St-Juste is headed to the Chargers.

The Commanders have had trade conversations centered around Pro Bowl DL Jonathan Allen, sources say.

Washington plans to do right by the player & Allen’s camp is involved in helping him land at the right spot — either via trade or free agency. He has one year left at $15M.
