「恥ずかしい」についてはもちろんそうなのですが、自分は SF Bay Area に住んでるので、50% は大げさだけど本当に 20% くらいにみえるくらい Tesla なので、浮きだって恥ずかしい、というのはないですｗ。

売り上げについては、他社に頑張って欲しいですね。友人でも Nazi 野郎が嫌い過ぎて敢えて Volvo とか BMW の EV にしてますが、ここ数年でかなり Tesla の域まで近づいてきてるので、あと数年もすれば他社は Tesla を超すのではないでしょうか？

あとは、 Waymo も市販して欲しいです。ものすごく快適です。安全だし。見た目はカッコ悪いけどｗ

自分も Tesla 持ってますが、言い訳としては
1) 本当に運転が快適（UI が良い）
2) voice command が便利（例えば、"navigate to (address)" と言うと地図検索したり "play Taylor Swift" と言うと曲を流してくれたり
3) Google Calendar との連動が便利。イベントにアドレスを入れておくとそれが自動で navigation が出てくる

そして、一番の言い訳は、Tesla はあの Nazi 野郎が発明したり開発してない。ただかねのちからにまかせてばいしゅうしただけなので、技術者開発者には罪がない。

という感じです。
