Designs of Viktor and Jayce as the Pokemon Xerneas and Buneary, respectively. Xerneas Viktor looks like a cross between the Arcane Herald and a stag. His body is purple-tinted metal and he has a gold brace on his right front leg. His torso and legs have more of an astral plane multi-colored texture with little tiny stars. His antlers are hexcorized gold with pink, blue, purple, and yellow webbing. The antlers are also overgrown with Arcane foliage--tiny leaves sprout here and there, and tendril-like vines hang down in some spots. These are colored an alien oil-slick green. One eerie orange eye is visible. He still has his signature mole under this eye. Buneary Jayce--specifically, Shiny Buneary Jayce--is a little brown bunny with a large pastel pink puff for a body. His little feet are also pink puffs, and he has one more pink puff on each bunny ear. He looks like a Sanrio character. An arrow points to him with the label "24 year old man.* A little speech bubble with a red heart extends from Buneary Jayce. In turn, a distorted speech bubble with a red heart and multiple other hearts of different colors glitching in, extends from Xerneas Viktor.

Page 1 of a 3 page comic. Viktor locks the door to his apartment and steps out into the deserted Piltover streets at dawn. It is cold - his breath clouds in the air. He walks down the silent street steadily, past neat Piltover rowhomes until he reaches the corner of an intersection. He is so focused on his own thoughts that he doesn't notice another, faceless person quickly rounding the corner.

Page 2 of 3. Viktor runs face-first into a large bouquet, that is in turn crushed against the chest of the stranger. The force of the collision knocks him back, looking rattled, but the stranger grabs his wrist before he can fall. Stranger: "Whoah!" It is revealed that the stranger is Jayce, who now looks down at Viktor with concern and worry. Jayce: "Viktor!?" Viktor: "Jayce!" Jayce, 500 MPH: "I'm so sorry!! Did I hurt you?? Where are you going so early in the morning??" Viktor extends a hand to accept his cane, which Jayce has picked up for him after knocking it out of Viktor's hand. Viktor: "...To the lab? The place we go every day?" Jayce: "...Right. Totally normal to see you on the way to the lab, heh.." Viktor looks down at the bouquet as he speaks, and Jayce in turn notices him looking. Viktor: "But where are YOU going in such a hurry, then..."

Page 3 of 3. Viktor realizes that the flowers are for him, and looks away bashfully. Jayce rubs his back of his neck, also bashfully. Viktor: "Ah..." Jayce: "Shoot. You caught me, haha". Jayce squeezes Viktor in for a kiss on the cheek, which Viktor accepts, his cheeks growing increasingly rosy. Jayce: "Ok, well...You can't have them yet!! They're the finishing touch!" Viktor, fondly: "What are you planning..." But Jayce has already zoomed off down the street, shouting over his shoulder to Viktor, who hesitantly reaches a hand out as he shouts back. Jayce: "I gotta run now -- Pretend to be surprised, ok!?" Viktor: "B-but - Jayce! I have your gift at home!" Jayce: "That's ok!!" Viktor: "I was saving it for dinner tonight!" Jayce: "Looking forward to it!!" Viktor holds a hand to where Jayce kissed his cheek, cheeks redder than ever. "...Me too." Little butterflies flutter around him. Viktor then shoos the butterflies away, looking sour (but of course not meaning it). Viktor: "Well. I suppose the bakery should be open by now. Too early for that much energy..."

Neither of them knows how to act normal on their first Valentine's Day as a couple. 💘💌 #jayvik

From my understanding, it was the worst after Season 1, mostly from “Viktor fans who allow JayVik” and not the “JayVik” fandom if that makes sense? The people who genuinely like both Jayce and Viktor as characters understand Mel’s place in their dynamic and also love her so much!
