Søren. I appreciate your comments but they lack a broader perspective of how important this deal. Yes the price could have been higher. There is much more in there. if I had come 7 years ago and claimed that by 2027 we would have a global carbon price, you would have laughed me out of the room.

A call that simply shows an incredible lack of knowledge of where European companies stand on the green transition. Taking away a key point where EU companies have an advantage as compared to other main trading partners. Rolling back the green deal would lead to a ton of stranded assets…

Maybe this is exactly the wake up call the EU needs. Whilst not being a federal entity, there are many levers that can be used.
