Biden commutes sentence for Leonard Peltier, convicted in FBI killings The Native American activist says he did not receive a fair trial in the slayings of FBI agents Ronald Williams and Jack Coler at Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.

In one of his final acts as president, Joe Biden on Monday commuted the life sentence of Native American activist Leonard Peltier, whose case had become a rallying cry for the Indigenous movement in the nearly 50 years since his conviction for killing two FBI agents.

West is definitely a little better, but it’s also still terrible depending on the time. I have only had my car hit once there but have witnessed a number of verbal altercations both inside and out and once had a shopper who didn’t believe my disabled license plates belong to me call the cops. 🙃

It is *better* but still atrocious.

Gonna throw an honorable mention for most menacing and cursed lots to the ACME Bread / Kermit Lynch shared parking at San Pablo + Cedar.
