They were so good. And there are leftovers! My fave thing to do with leftover mashed potatoes is brown them in a frying pan while I cook a fried or scrambled egg beside them 😋. That'll be lunch tomorrow.

I love having kitchen tools that remind me of people now gone. I have my neighbour’s potato masher that I used to borrow from her and an old electric mixer from a mother figure, among others 🥰

🍽️ 🍜 In the last couple of days I have made and frozen in portions chicken 🐓 soup (from homemade broth), roasted tomato 🍅 soup, and buttercup squash soup. I feel very accomplished and ready for winter!! 🥶

I saw my cat just starting to play with this black widow INSIDE our screen 🙀. All is okay thankfully but it so easily could have not been.

Must be in the air! 🍂 I made some this week too, but individual portions so some got frozen for next week ☺️
