The first-of-its-kind collaboration brings together Washington’s land-grant university and the nation’s leading nonprofit program for placing journalists in local newsrooms, with a bold goal: ensuring thatevery county in the state has reliable, local reporting.

Big news from WA, where the #waleg stepped in with a minuscule amount of state funding a few years ago to help pay for a few more reporters.
