10.11.2025 17:19 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0We compiled a database of 1,300 thermal response curves (1,125 species, from viruses to mammals).
Our results reveal universal scaling relationships in thermal performance, which could be useful for predicting changes in performance under scenarios of climate warming.

10.11.2025 17:19 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 2 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0We suffer for what now shifts
But we are dividing time.
We can admire what stays
The potential of our mind.
In vain we attempt to grasp
Any happiness we find.
Let's enjoy every moment!
So, we will because we can.
We want our pleasures to last
While ephemeral are stars.
Before we finish a breath
This and every world have changed.
We recall the fading past
We crave for the bright future
While the present seeps nonstop
between our shivering words.

He gave us a historical overview on the topic and then a formalization of his ideas.

We show that the nature of datasets imposes inherent limits on artificial intelligence and machine learning.
This suggests that the evolution of higher complexity in the universe should be expected, since new levels of organization emerge as quantity becomes quality
21.07.2025 11:54 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0With an extremely simple mathematical model, we show that, even when probabilities of having "cooperative/symbiotic/catalytic/beneficial" interactions are ridiculously low, communities of mutualistic agents eventually emerge.
