Also I was thinking last night that while I've had some game ideas, they're all ambitious ideas, and game making is supposed to start small. But what sorta small game could I come up with?

I ended up with an idea of a game about a bioship. (With womb of course.) Though that means quite monstrous-

Felt like drawing action, but ended up drawing part of a sequence which is still missing the beginning, so for now a preview will have to do. She's an older boss monster, but should be recognizable from this alone- for those familiar with it.

...Still haven't figured out a good story ending though.

I just learned of that earlier today trying to look up centaur games. Never did play the old Sega games, but Shining Force looks to be worth a try.

Steam Horse Fest, but not a single centaur game to be seen. And while there are games with centaur player characters, they're pretty much all MOBAs, plus that one ancient pure PVP MMO.

Such slim pickings for monster girl games outside of sex VNs... Somehow I have to figure out a way to contribute.

It's the Year of the Horse

Mmm, I haven't had any illusions about making music, as I know that's beyond my ability.

It's the matter of having to find people who are good at it, who are also being fine with fetish content. There are sites that sell licenses for pre-made music, which might sorta work, pending their terms/TOS.

Been thinking how it may be better to switch my comic ideas to be VNs instead. Less drawing required, while still having the option to draw out important scenes.

There's just one big problem with VNs: Music. I can't music, and what halfway competent composer would associate with fetish garbage?

My job has exiled me to the desert for the sin of trying to get the insect yuri comic rolling again.

...At this rate I should've coughed up the extra cash for an iPad to be able draw on the go, instead of this lesser tablet. Alas, gotta make do with the ol' sketchbook.

It feels like the framerate doubled in 3D games, even though the monitor is the same and the settings are higher. Like removing a lag that I'd grown so used to. With any luck rendering in Blender won't take forever anymore either... if I ever get around to working in Blender again.

After running for 8 years, I decided it was finally time to upgrade to a new computer, and broke it in with this drawing of Enamtila. (Who's both my artist avatar and the personification of my computer.)

"New hardware" is a gen behind- But still a huge jump.

The unfortunately reality of taur monster girls being difficult to fit on a screen, mmyep. I used to stream my art on Picarto, usually with a bit of a gaming break around lunch time. My streams were probably about as exciting as watching paint dry, heh.

Never did try Twitch though.

I actually did add simple kicks to her idle animation later, though her belly was mostly offscreen while streaming so they weren't visible. (Just her ears twitching in response.) Half-baked a contraction feature too, but got too ambitious and never finished it.

Thanks! She does have the benefit of being an angled rig, instead of facing straight at the screen like most, though it also sorta limits her motion.

Didja have some toggle features in mind? Though it might be a bit late to be going back and trying to upgrade her rig by now-

Aiyana also has the honor of being my only character with a VTuber rig, though it's way outdated by modern standards. She graced the screen back when I used to stream. Sadly haven't had a use for the rig since, since I make for a terrible streamer.

The previous Year of the Horse was when I made Aiyana, and now that we've looped around to it again I'd better do her justice. It won't be for a while though.

Mmyep this is yet another exceptionally dumb idea, courtesy of Nin. I had it one morning and took it and ran to squeeze in one more 2025 drawing, since cleanup got delayed due to the holidays.

While nothing explicitly said that she had to wait until Christmas to give birth, it had become an unofficial tradition to do so. Somehow she managed to hold on until almost 1AM, when the first baby ornament arrived.

After all these years of limbo, I finally had a faint idea regarding Synivari's story, yet it's still quite faint...

There's still a sorta villainess story energy that I very much desire, yet haven't managed to grasp. It doesn't help that I'm actually not that good at making villainess characters-

It's Christmas Eve and unfortunately I've got nothing started for this year due to life circumstances, but at least we've still got the drawings from the past years. Just gotta put this year on the tab.

I dunno if it's the light itself that directly kills them. From what I'd heard, light puts them in alert mode, which messes up their behavior and can lead to colony collapse.

I figure to try using red-tinted plexiglass. Being able to see the queen is the appeal, but odds are she'll end up hidden.

Having spent much of her life in a sunless chamber, she cherishes these experiences of the wider world around her, such as the colorful autumn leaves, even if it's no longer her first time.

Of course I spared several of them their lives and put them in a container with moist dirt. It's notoriously difficult to raise a successful termite colony in captivity though, so the odds are slim, but hey when presented the opportunity why not try.

I haven't really made any progress in figuring out a Termite Queen character design & story despite wanting one for some time, so the termites decided to deliver a new queen themselves.

Except I 100% won't have the time to draw it, not this year. By next year it won't be relevant anymore- But then it's not like I ever keep up with trends anyway.

Already imagining comic pages for her-

Granted I've done this before and rough scripted an entire story, only to drop it. A weakness of mine is character & story concept, but then fail to find a personality for them.

This one does have a defining trait to work with though, but it's never easy.

I was struck by inspiration and made another broodmother on the spot recently...

A backstory came together quick, then a discussion got a story set-up, and all that's missing is world lore. It's scary how well it came together. Another idea vying really hard for my attention, and who might win it.

Sounds like a squishy cutie named Omiphea. She missed the roll here, but at least she got to be cozy for last Christmas.
