One of the marvelous things about rewatching #UntilWeMeetAgain is that #StudioWabiSabi isn’t afraid to let its actors sweat. All through Ep 12 Ohm is sweating like he actually lives in Thailand!

I’m behind on Shine and finally watched ep 5 tonight. When people started calling it a masterpiece after ep 1, I rolled my eyes. I take it back. This is an f-ing masterpiece! Cinematography. Acting. Script. Politics. Versatility. Love triangle. No #ThaiBL cliches. Just art. Amazing. #BLSeries

Dorothy L. Sayers’ “Have His Carcase” has this lovely description of Peter’s age: “the halcyon period between the self-tormenting exuberance of youth and the fretful carpe diem of approaching senility.” Like Peter, I intend to “extract an Epicurean enjoyment” from this phase of life.

A couple of weeks ago I felt the urge to reread “Nemesis” by #AgathaChristie. Then I reread “Unnatural Death” by #DorothyLSayers. Then I reread Christie’s “At Bertram’s Hotel.” Next up: “Have His Carcass.” I’m relishing the contrasts in styles and strengths! #books

I’ve been trying to get into Reset but didn’t find the first few eps compelling, but ep 4 has me hooked! Romance. Intrigue. Hissy fits. Complicated pasts. It’s got it all. And #PanPond are great! #ThaiBL #ResettheSeries

Ep. 6 of KinnPorsche may be my favorite single ep of any Thai BL. Getting away from all the chaos, we see them truly get to know one another. This is where they start to fall in love. The cinematography and music are truly chef’s kiss. It’s a beautiful episode.

#TheNextPrince has promise but I’m finding it just a little too slow. So, I’m back watching my favorite show: #KinnPorsche. (Maybe I’ll follow it with my other fav: #MoonlightChicken. ❤️)

I want to start #Reset, and I’m liking #BoysinLove as a light, fluffy show. #SweetToothGoodDentist was just that: sweet. I thought #OssansLoveTH showed Earth’s acting range and talent. I’m watching #MyStubborn, but it gets more problematic every week. 2/

My time in the UK was productive: 32 #manuscript miscellanies, commonplace books, & unbound collections at the #BritishLibrary, the V&A, the U of Nottingham, the U of Leeds, & #HolkhamHall. I hope to be back in a year to see 2 I couldn’t see and 2 I want to spend more time with.

Today I worked in one of the libraries I'm visiting, U of Nottingham's Manuscripts & Special Collections. Today was about examining ink and bindings, both of which yielded exciting information for my research. Tomorrow I will be reading mss that will require more attention to the texts as well.
