In my experience contributions in specialist journals are better situated in the debates, citing more of the relevant literature.
Generalist journal papers sometimes blissfully ignore longstanding debates. (Would ruin the β€œnovelty” I guess)
Also what the others say

Don't mind Robin, his book is great, and we (Nastja, Nora, and I) wouldn't have been able to make these criticisms without Robin's groundwork!

Still I’d wager, the fact that delusions with specific contents occur is a causal product of the interactions with llms.
Drug abuse or schizophrenia do not necessarily produce delusions per se.
Delusions can be a fairly harmless symptom, but certain contents are dangerous

This is my ballpark: these people get what’s called induced delusion or folie a deux. It isn’t its own diagnosis anymore since the dsm5/icd11 because cases are arguably always anchored in preexisting conditions, so you’re right: drug abuse, depression, latent schizophrenia etc are there first

- Modal logic more specifically
- Fodorianism
- depending on how you conceive of success: utilitarianism and Kantianism (can’t reconcile them that easily, but can’t get rid of them either)

Philosophy Sky: What are your examples of long-term successful philosophical ideas or theories? I'm looking for counterexamples to a pessimistic meta-induction about philosophy. 3 of mine:
-externalism about meaning and reference.
-modern logic and applications to language
-Gettier cases

Also note Kantβ€˜s point in the doctrine of virtue that, in a sense, doing the right thing against your inclination is more virtuous, as it just depends on your knowledge that it is the right thing to do

To me it looks like he’s answering someone’s question, so part of it is the clipping. And he clearly has a crowd to whom he’s talking, telling them that it’s cheap calling yourself progressive and in favour of social justice. There’s no mention of ordinary people who have to work together.
