and his BC NDP team are focused on protecting BC from the threat of Trump’s unjustified tariffs, and standing firm as Trump threatens Canada’s sovereignty.

To protect BC jobs, businesses and economic prosperity from global threats, we need to keep working to make sure BC isn’t in this position ever again. It’s full steam ahead on strengthening our economy through major projects to deliver wealth and high-paying jobs to communities.

The task force, made up of business, industry, labour, and Indigenous leaders, will advise the Premier on emerging issues, and work towards solutions to navigate these challenges and help the families that these tariffs will hurt.

This builds on green light given to 9 clean energy projects last December.
