A Hugo thread! (Oh no! Or Oh yeah! depending on how you feel.)
Based on what John said in his parenthetical, I want to talk about my idea re: centralizing the Hugo Awards specifically. It's a GREAT IDEA.
Every day I get a new email from a publicist trying to convince me to hire them to promote my novel. Some of them sound really good at their job! I just can't imagine being able to afford them.
01.08.2025 18:14 β π 9 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I am seeing a lot of dunks these days, so many dunks. But remember the golden period, when we blocked chodes instead of circulating their pablum. Vaporized them instead of infecting our circles with names and faces no one needs to know. Let it all die in silence, begging ya.

Itβs programs necessary for the long term health and wealth of the country like funding for the NIH and NSF. The impacts of this era will be felt for a long time.

If you write dark fiction send it our way. Don't explain anything, just make things weird and make us deal with it. Ambiguity encouraged, definitive endings frowned upon.

Fuck AI. You do you.
