It didn't make the cut, so I'm reposting my entry for the Mega Man Robot master design contest! Mosquito Man is, like a real mosquito, mainly designed for general mayhem, sapping and impurifying the precious mechanical fluids of robots, and generally ruining good things.

Since I didn't make it I'll post my design here. Vampyr Woman, A robot in charge of maintaining and guiding people visting a horror movie museum. Fascinated by people getting scared by such movies. My (rejected) entry for the RM contest, Nerve Woman! To be fair though, she was actually an old idea that I retrofitted for the contest, so she was a longshot anyway.

Siphonman, an entry for the Design a Robot Master contest for Megaman 12. He’s a green robot, whose chest is shaped like a bug, his vacuum arm being a proboscis. His feet are pincers, and his helmet seemingly has big insect eyes on them. He’s very gentle with his own butterfly companion.

My entry for the Megaman Robot Master contest. I kind of got my bearings sharing my art online with Megaman fan-characters, so it was interesting to revisit that era for me.

Siphonman here was supposed to be a tender heart who believes anyone can change for the better.

Pen drawing on an index card of an ice cream robot, labeled "Soda Man." His torso is a glass with liquid inside, his head is a scoop of ice cream with a cherry on top, his right arm is a crazy straw with two loops near the end, and he wears knee pads that resemble soda tabs.

I didn't enter the Mega Man contest because I didn't want to post on the cesspool formerly known as Twitter, which is maaaybe a dumb reason but oh well, I stuck to my guns.

Here was my two-minute idea. He would have been green like a melon soda. I like the soda tab knee pads.

Since my design wasn't picked for the MegaMan robot contest, I'll share it here now. Here's Absorb Man. Originally built as a surge protector with the ability to absorb energy and redirect them. His wraps can stretch and act as a bridge for the energy flow and for grabbing things hard to reach.

Part 2
The ZX comic despite the art style choice was just ok, there were a few characterizations I felt missed the mark. I also felt the pacing and tone was all over the place. The action was passable. I hope they are allowed to continue to improve it.

My thoughts on the timeline comics (part 1)
I really enjoyed the Legends one, it got the vibes and characters pretty spot on. It felt like you could pick this up w.o prior knowledge of the franchise and have a good time. The references are cool for long time fans though. I definitely recommend it.
