"It’s been a hot minute since my last personal post! Since then... Went to Salem with my boyfriend for my birthday. Went to PAX East in cosplay, talk with indie devs and check out the Accessibility panels and booths. Presented my findings to my job and got some cool opportunities with my full-time job involving Accessibility. Went home for Easter for a personal gathering. Went to Anime Boston. Filmed, Edited and Published a video about College Asriel in Deltarune. Went to a personal ceremony with my boyfriend’s family. Babysat a cat. Went to see Halsey! <3 Played the new Deltarune chapters! :D"

OK. How about a thread of books to look forward to this Spring? You know, cause it's nice to have things to look forward to. So in the order that I think of them...

And because I love her so much, here is Star. She passed away my last year of college and I had her since I was in 5th grade. She was an absolute sweetheart and never left my side when I had a particularly bad breakup. She barely spoke until she got older and wanted turkey. 🥹🩵🖤✨

I watched the truck disappear into the snow. As the weight in my stomach lifted from how well everything turned out, I scrubbed through my iPod for an old song I used to roller skate to. I started walking home, realizing that I still remembered all the lyrics after all this time.

I tell her where she’ll end up and how she’ll love it every single day. My red phone catches her eye. “I can afford an iPhone?” “God, just barely.” I laugh. We ramble for a half hour about tech. I get nostalgic for the phone she has in her pocket. “I miss Myspace.” She says. “Dude, me too.” After sharing earbuds and dancing in our seats to our favorite music, she’s in a glow of euphoria.

She’s never heard it before. But, I don’t expect it to accept it or fully understand it. Not right now. “You’ll find a really wonderful guy though. He and I have been dating for six years. You two have gone through a lot but you love each other. Marriage and a house is a little complicated right now, but you’re both hoping to be pet parents soon.” Her smile returns, warmed by the thought of someone loving her for that long and what type of dog she’ll have.

Before she gets into the pickup truck, she turns to give me a hug. I hold her tightly.
