There is a special charm to the messed up games of the rpg game maker horror. I wont play them but I cam sit down and watch a 3 hour youtube video on them and be perfectly content.

Hearing features be scrapped for a game since controllers dont have enough buttons to do everything is kinda hard to wrap my head around. I am not trying to say pc master race crap but having a keyboard doesn't make me ever think about the limits a controller has.

There is a weird bliss of knowing about some obscure game from your childhood that you cant remember the name of. Suddenly you stumble across it in some random video essay on YouTube.

Just finished building my pc with help from my little brother. Super excited.

Now October in vintage story with my friends and siblings. We have two green houses and slowly making progress.

Rim world
Many of the elder scrolls games.

I think my attention is easily kept with eldritch themes lol. Also those genes have alot of replayability. They can be pretty cozy to play after a long day as well. Multiplayer games are saved for when I have energy.

Also like in monster hunter the monsters all have scifi fantasy ecology but doone in a way that's believable and makes sense. Each monster and creature in that universe tells a story of how it lives through movement and behavior. It's so good.

As an example I love hearing about a alchemist who wears a blue amulet inky later to fund this unnamed alchemist only recognizable by the amulet. Could the alchemist be a major character or minor? Doesn't matter but the story telling with easily missed things is great.
