Literally just a bunch of legal size paper i stole from the office two studios ago. Just scribbling, nothing beautiful or even finished. I think i needed to give myself the freedom to just scribble and not be anxious about it.

Years ago I would just fold up printer paper and staple them down the middle and use those as sketchbooks and I've been doing that the past few days and just mindlessly doodling and I feel a sort of flow and enjoyment coming back to drawing that I haven't had in a bit. I think it's the low stakes.

After the recent joy of Hard Boiled in a packed theater it hit me that one of the tragedies of capitalism’s manifestation of our tech age is that on top of imprisoning us in gilded cages disconnected from shared reality, they are transforming communal experience into an expensive, uncommon novelty.

more mysteries of Jarvis's previous life before we adopted him: every time I work out, he gets very very excited and starts wagging his tail, getting in my space, and has jumped up on me a few times.
