Tonight’s Bexley planning committee will receive a viability report for Bursted Woods outlining why it isn’t viable for social rent homes to be provided.

This comes just weeks after members of the Cabinet received a report saying scheme will deliver £6.1m profit to council.

Tomorrow night’s Bexley planning committee will determine the council’s development company’s application for 113 flats & 8 houses on the former maternity hospital site at Bursted Woods.

This is a site suitable for development but I’ve asked for these issues to be considered.

Every week, I’m out speaking to residents who constantly raise potholes.

Thanks to the Labour Government, Bexley has received £895k to fix potholes. But shockingly, much of it isn’t being spent.

I’m taking action using FixMyStreet to report every pothole I find.

It’s a year today since an historic result was declared for Bexleyheath and Crayford.

It’s an honour to represent the area I love in Parliament.

We’ve seen the start of investment in local schools, NHS services, roads and trains but so much more to do in the year ahead.
