It's fern week 🌿
It turns out that ferns make a lot of appearances in my artwork, and it's no surprise considering how much I love them.
These are just a few of the lino block prints I've done with ferns!

Long exposure of west Portland at night. The house on the bottom is in between the tree branch in the top left and the valley, but is out of focus while both of the former are in focus. Unrelatedly, the pine trees in the distance have lost all of their detail, but still register as conical, which makes them look like scans from an electron microscope oddly.

I was passing through the west hills the other day and I thought to test out my tilt-shift. These photos are rough, but the tilt-shift is certainly doing it's thing.

I really like winter.

I find that the outside feels the most alien during the winter, with all the snow and ice, and the lack of leaves on trees can give rare angles on buildings. It’s also nice how small colorful things seem to pop in an otherwise desaturated environment.
