This story, from @natezuke.bsky.social, is absolutely wild. A trans woman who never changed her gender marker was issued a letter invalidating her license. At the DMV they cut up her license, which had an "M" marker.

I have (I haven't looked for my source just now) heard that there are many researchers who had NIH grants have gone to other research institutions in Europe and Canada. Also the professor who has studied anti-fascist movements has gone to Spain. George Clooney now has French citizenship.

In the rural Minnesota caucus that I was part of this desire was expressed but we still passed a resolution supporting and affirming MN's trans refuge status.

I was just passing by the block where her car was left by ICE shortly after this incident. I saw the video of the ICE agents surrounding her and removing her from her car and her pleas to them to let her use her walker. I am so glad she has survived and is able to speak out/testify against them.

Her testimony is everything and it deserves to be heard, by everyone. Decide for yourself.

She has been charged this week with assaulting a federal officer and DHS has publicized her name along with a few others with mug shot photos on social media and others have found her place of business and are actively harassing her with so much hate speech.

This is important information and she has the receipts on how transphobia has been encouraged and developed over time in the media. Many of the comments point to how it has been stoked in the US and the UK. And how it was a conscious decision by the NYT editorial board.

Here in Minnesota it is obligatory.I read a post on here that in 2226 it will be a standard MN English saying and they had imagined some spelling drift (I can't remember what exactly) like fudiss. And some linguist writing a paper speculating on its origins
