As always, selling the Dream. And, sadly, it seems to be working.
As a job-seeker, I unfortunately spend a lot of time on LinkedIn, and the gallons of AI Kool-Aid people are drinking over there is staggering. According to "thought leaders", if you're not an expert on AI, you're behind the curve.
That's ultimately more marketing speak. The average person doesn't understand what a "large language model" is. But "AI" sounds sexy, and we have half a century of sci-fi providing context. Even if it is wildly misleading context.

They're currently working with Kobo to enable compatibility there.
Selling books self-published through Draft 2 Digital and IngramSpark is in the works.

In an effort to be fair, sometimes the issue isn't the actor/performer, but the editing. I don't remember Hannibal well enough to know which it might be.

In the left column, we read in part βthou hast hit the point, Sancho, which can alone shake my resolutionβ, and on the right βthy share of the booty would would have been at least the emperorβs crown of goldβ; by coincidence, these align so that the phrase βshake my bootyβ can be read across the columns.
Books designed to be read only by human eyes are different from books designed to be read by machines, which is why Google will tell you that the phrase βshake my bootyβ can be found in an 1863 English translation of Don Quixote.
