I thought Blue Prince may have been my Game of the Year for 2025, but 'The Seance of Blake Manor' has slid on to my radar at the last minute and I am HOOKED.

Guess I should also acknowledge the elephant in the room that is that YouTubeTV is also not hurting for money because Google has deep pockets.

They say to dress your toddler in one more layer than you would dress yourself in. This is great advice for someone with a less neurospicy brain that is capable of following through on the direct thought 'Oh, it's cold. I should put on another layer' or 'Oh, it's hot. I should remove a layer'.

I'm realizing pretty late in life that I have terrible Interoception. Nothing has humbled me more than realizing that I have NO IDEA how to appropriately dress my toddler for cold weather because - as it turns out - I may have not been dressing MYSELF appropriately for cold weather THIS WHOLE TIME.

It was Final Fantasy XIV. Specifically the Dravanian Hinterlands and Forelands.

The town I liked to go to was Idyllshire.

The witch in the woods was Matoya (in a cave, not the forest).

The 'volcano' was Anyx Trine (notably not a volcano).

I slept GOOD last night.

So if you'll excuse me, I guess I'm going to have to consult Play Station trophies and my Steam library to see if this game actually exists lest I never sleep again.

I couldn't fall asleep last night because my brain kept trying to remember a video game that I've played in the last 5 years but maybe my brain is making up?

And all my brain could supply was 'There was lush green grass and stone ruins'

So, I guess that narrows it down to every RPG ever.
