When I was in Manila for work, we would hail a taxi. The hotel workers would run over and make sure their meter was operational so we didn't get ripped off. Of course, the cab fare was like $10 for a 30 minute drive to the office.

I started wearing retainers in the fourth grade. My mouth is just too small for 32 teefs. I didn't go to the dentist for 18 years after the wisdom teeth fiasco. I used pliers to remove the last of my braces. Those teeth are now crowns.

Decades ago I had a cat that would constantly get stuck on our roof. I had to climb up and get him down. One time I was about to drop him to the grass and he full on did a ninja spin and swung his paw around and hooked a claw in my pinky. A couple of shakes later and he was off the roof.
