No friends here. I actually came here in 2018 to volunteer for a hurricane Harvey non-profit doing rebuilds. I ended up being offered a job and then ended up running all field operations, which was awesome. Unfortunately covid shut us down and I ended up trapped here!

No Ubers here. I live in a very small town in South Texas along the coast. There is one cab company that wanted $45 to take me to the polling station. We're talking 6 miles round trip!

I have no way to get to the polling center! 🤐
