A group of masked people carrying swastika flags marched in front of the State House and tussled with passersby in Concord Saturday, according to several eyewitnesses.

State agrees to pay Harmony Montgomery’s mother $2.25 million to settle wrongful death lawsuit The New Hampshire Attorney General’s office has paid more than $10 million since July to settle cases involving the death of three children in the state’s care.

Montgomery’s mother, Crystal Sorey, sued the state in September, alleging the state Division of Children Youth and Families failed to protect her 5-year-old daughter despite receiving reports from multiple people expressing concern that she was being abused.

Ice climber injured in avalanche in Franconia State Park A Vermont man was carried approximately 300 feet when the snow beneath him gave way. He was rescued by his climbing partner, and then extricated on a snowmobile by first responders.

The climber, who is from Vermont, was heading toward the Cannon Cliffs with a companion from Concord when the ground beneath them gave way.
