Many bikes shops will box a bike up for shipping for a fee. If you don't want to pay for them to to do some light disassembly and boxing, they'll often give you a box you can use for free.

MVT is ice still. 14th St bridge had one lane plowed. Long Bridge Connector trail is not plowed. If you're willing to hike a mile you could bike to Long Bridge, hike and then cross 14th St Bridge. 15th St is passable.
