Joe Cronin says he doesn’t think about his job security. Which, if true, would make him one of the few people in Portland who doesn’t. And the crazy thing is, when he says this, you actually believe him.

Sad to see the videos of the empty seats, but that’s not surprising. They did to themselves.

The NBA has also shown they don’t care much for Portland anyway, not once celebrating one of the most unique cities/fanbases the league has that the NFL, MLB and NHL don’t have.

You’ve got one the most loyal fanbases in the league in Portland who’s stuck with this franchise for 50+ years.

The fans have spent their money, come out every night even when the team was blatantly tanking.

And the talk now is about the possibility of losing all that bc of $$$ for an arena. 👎🏼

Ultimately, the game is about pitting the best basketball players in the world against each other night in and night out.

Superstars vs. superstars. Rivalries between cities.

We want to see the best and whoever comes out on top is the champ. Sounds simple enough, but that’s not what it is now.

I’ll forever love basketball and the NBA.

But I do agree the league has lost its way a bit, over complicated everything that makes it hard to follow for casual fans.

The bigger it’s gotten, the more they’re just in it to make more $$ instead of making it a good product to watch from Oct to June.

Yup, I get there’ll always be awful people. But you know there’s millions who are on her side… which is completely insane. Not even about politics anymore. It’s just doing what’s right.

Like, holding power, getting compensated or whatever the hell the reason is means so much to these people that they’re willing to turn the other way on even the most heinous things humans can do.

Blazers have a lot of good players, but right now, they have no idea how to get buckets, who to play off of and there’s no connection on defense.

No one is stepping up to be that guy. They seem real lost without Deni.
